Sir Mark Moody-Stuart

Chair

Mark Moody-Stuart is Chairman of Foundation for the United Nations Global Compact. He is a Director of Accenture Ltd, and Saudi Aramco. He was Chairman of Anglo American plc, a global mining company from 2002 to 2009. He was Chairman of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies from 1998 to 2001, having worked for Shell since 1966. 

A director of the  International Institute for Sustainable Development, Sir Mark is also Chairman of the Global Business Coalition for HIV/AIDSand of the Innovative Vector Control Consortiumfor combating insect borne disease. He chaired task forces on renewable energy for the G8 and for business for the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg. He is a board member of the Global Reporting Initiative 2002-7, and was President of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine from 1997-2008. Sir Mark is a member of the UN Secretary General's Advisory Council for the Global Compact 2001-2004 and member of the Global Compact Board. Married to Judy with four children.
